AROMATICS
EVA-SOL is a high solvency mixture of C9-C10 aromatic hydrocarbons. It is typically used as gasoline blending component, as a precursor to aromatic hydrocarbon resins, and as a solvent for a wide array of industrial applications in agrochemical and specialty chemicals.
Benzene
BENZENE is a C6 aromatic liquid that is colorless and has a distinct sweet odor. It is highly flammable, volatile, and insoluble in water. Used primarily as a precursor to various industrially important chemicals such as ethylbenzene, cumene, cyclohexane, and nitrobenzene.
Toluene
TOLUENE is a C7 aromatic liquid that is colorless, water-insoluble and has a sweet to pungent odor. It is also highly flammable and volatile. Typically used as solvent, gasoline additive, and precursors to various industrial chemicals such as polyurethane, benzoic acid, phenol, and benzaldehyde.
Mixed Xylenes
MIXED XYLENES is a colorless aromatic liquid. It is a mixture of C8 aromatics consisting of three xylene isomers (o-xylene, m-xylene, and p-xylene) and ethylbenzene. Used primarily as a solvent and precursor to polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
EVA-SOL
EVA-SOL is a colorless to light yellow liquid consisting of C9 to C10 aromatics. Typically used as a solvent, fuel additive, and precursor to aromatic hydrocarbon resins
Solvent Applications
Paints and Coatings
Dissolves binder and adjusts viscosity in paints, varnishes, and lacquers. Component of thinners and coating removers.
Printing and Inks
Dissolves binder and viscosity adjuster. Solvent in pre-press chemicals, cleaning, and dilution solvent.
Agrochemicals
Used as carrier of active ingredient or toxicant.
Leather Tanners
Used as finishing solvent in tanned leather.
Synthetic Rubber
Solvent in rubber solutions and precursors to resins in the production of synthetic rubbers.
Fuel Industry
Blending component and an octane booster for base Gasoline.
Flexible Packaging
Solvent for printing inks, fountain solutions, and adhesive laminates.
Adhesive and Sealants
Dissolves polymer binders or resins. Helps control drying properties.
