JG Summit Olefins Corporation introduced its comprehensive portfolio of HDPE, LLDPE, and PP grades in 1998, branding them as EVALENE®. EVALENE® serves as a raw material in various industries including flexible and rigid packaging, durables, infrastructure, and the commercial and industrial sectors.
In 2023, JGSOC launched EVALENE PLUS®, a premium grade line designed for high-value performance applications such as specialty, agricultural, and industrial films, medium—to large-part blow molding, pipes for hot and cold-water distribution, and pressurized applications.
All of JGSOC’s commercial polymer products meet local and international standards for food contact and are Halal-certified.
JG Summit Olefins Corporation is the largest manufacturer of polyolefins in the Philippines, with integrated production facilities for HDPE, LDPE, Homopolymer PP, and Random Copolymer PP based on world-renowned UNIPOL™ Technology, as well as unimodal, bimodal and metallocene PE grades based on MarTECH® Advanced Dual Loop technology.
EVALENE® High Density Polyethylene
EVALENE® High Density Polyethylene grades exhibit superior balance of stiffness, impact strength and chemical resistance, making them ideal for a broad range of applications such as extrusion (blown film, pipe and monofilament) as well as injection, compression, and blow molding of consumer, household and industrial products.
EVALENE® Linear Low Density Polyethylene
EVALENE® Linear Low Density Polyethylene grades combine outstanding toughness, stretchability and good processability, making them a good choice for flexible packaging and film extrusion applications.
EVALENE® Homopolymer Polypropylene
EVALENE® Homopolymer Polypropylene grades are ideal for a broad range of applications that require rigidity, stress–induced tenacity, film transparency, moisture barrier and hot-fill property.
EVALENE PLUS® Random Copolymer Polypropylene
EVALENE PLUS® Random Copolymer Polypropylene grades offer high clarity, light weight and excellent hot-fill property suitable for transparent rigid packaging containers.
EVALENE PLUS® Bimodal High Density Polyethylene
EVALENE PLUS® Bimodal High Density Polyethylene grades offer outstanding tear, dart drop impact and puncture properties for films, and crack resistance and resistance to elevated temperatures for pipes, higher than the EVALENE® unimodal grades with the same level of stiffness.
EVALENE PLUS® Unimodal Metallocene Polyethylene
EVALENE PLUS® Unimodal Metallocene Linear Low Density Polyethylene grades offer excellent sealing properties for more efficient and faster packing rates, which are preferred in the flexible packaging market segment, as well as outstanding tear, dart drop impact, puncture and optical properties which are suitable in the agricultural and industrial films market segments.
EVALENE PLUS® Bimodal Metallocene Polyethylene
EVALENE PLUS® Bimodal Metallocene grades which combine the superior mechanical properties of metallocenes and the ease of processing of bimodals, will allow further downgauging and increased incorporation of recycled materials. Such properties are likewise ideal for high performance heavy duty films, as well as for bottle caps for carbonated beverages which require outstanding environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR).
